"racist remarks" and my stand.

After a great Big Brother Swap week, the house mates from both sides of the world now have to go back to their respective countries. Needless to say, Tina and Bruce are more than excited to go home, but still can’t deny that their stint in the respective countries had them leaving not only house mates, but friends.

I've been really itching to write this one, as far as the unjust racist remarks were finally aired yesterday night at the Pinoy Big Brother House episode. Here it goes...

Slovene housemates Pero & Miha w
ere automatically nominated by Big Brother due to their harsh remarks about Pinoy Big Brother Season 2 Housemate Bruce Quebral.

Miha - “Bruce shouldn’t go into the jacuzzi in order not to make the water brown.”
Pero - “He should give his finger into milk in order to make it chocolate.”

At this post modern times, were each nation is on the forefront of globalization, efficient mass media broadcasting and the struggle to keep up with the challenges brought about by the fast paced generation we are all into, I am saddened by the fact that still - there are people who treats and looks down to Filipinos particularly as second rate citizens of this ONE world. - How pathetic to utter such racist remarks. I am not at all angered - this is a matter of standing up to my opinions and point of view regarding this matter. Also, I am not making a sweeping generalization in any way.

The way our Filipino House mates treated Tina (the Slovene House mate) was truly commendable. In every way possible, even at the walled and camera-full compound they are into, we Filipinos lived up to our reputation of being hospitable and visit-worthy. ( I just don't know whether Bruce had the same kind of reception and fun filled/productive activities in his' five day stay in Slovenia. - Where most of the airtime occupying the Slovene Big Brother House was basically house mates bumming around, quarrelling and sleeping.)

In closing, the Swap was a success. Nonetheless, the occurrence of such racist remarks by some Slovene House mates was truly an upfront attack to our nationality. In this scenario, we've just seen the worst case status quo, that despite a struggle to become equal - still - there are people who looks down to us, and in color. The challenge is on us Filipinos, to prove them wrong and be the best productive citizens of this world.

Well Bruce, that’s how “kayumanggi’s” are, we’re perfectly painted brown even without sunbathing. And I’m DAMN proud of it!

simple life

Today is an extra different day. The scourging summer heat seems to have lie-lowed and the sticky summer breeze seems to be fading slowly. Yep, the first rain after the sumer season! I personally went out of the house to take a snip and stare at the first drops. As they say, the first rain of May ( though May haven't really stepped in ) signals the end of the summer season and marks the beginning of wet - to 'Mayweather' days... exciting!

The month of May is the time for a lot of occassions, fiestas ( for us in Provinces like Batangas) and an unending string of events including the traditional-colorful Flores de Mayo, the controversial Election Day and eating galore events! hahaha!

In the silence and simplicity of life here in the province, I can't help but remember and be nostalgic 'bout my five years stay in Manila. The day to day hustles and bustles of the city, the noise, the people, the air and everything! A lot - FAR - FAR different!

Asked with the question: Would you rather go URBAN or RURAL?

I'll go where the heart is! But I won't be a hypocrite to admit that all the opportunities are in the city. The perks and connections are all situated within the walled arena of Manila. Everyday is a struggle as they say. And whoever makes it here makes it everywhere! The tough neighborhood! Oh yeah! hahaha!

But the simplicity and comfort of life is in the Province. A steady way of life, calm surroundings, peaceful warmth of the people and family. Oh well! - Better be established first before staying here for good! But for now...

I opt to have the best of both worlds! It's a struggle! And I'm loving it!

missing a piece of me :c

I miss my bestfriend! Sigh* :c

You're right Sab, "Distance never separates people that really care, though we may not spend so much time together"... It was never a hindrance for good friends like us, Sab. We may not be spending that much time right now just the way we do before, rest assured that we'll remain bestfriends for the rest of our lives. As we say, It's complicated! haha! Basta, we love each other! Simple!

And we believe that we have a connection even before we knew each other...haha! Weird.

I miss you gf! :c good luck in your internship - - - 'hope to see you so0n!

i'm really new to blogging (seriously, i've been living under a rock), but it doesn't take no rocket science to tell this kid's got a knack for this. Geez, how do you get yourself into these situations? I mean, you've probably met in person more than half our local artists, and more celebs than what i can count with my fingers--and toes. come to think of it, you're already a celeb yourself. Keep this pictures coming and we'll keep drooling. Congrats and good luck.

Weee! Thanks! hahaha! Simple thoughts like these - - - really makes my day. I was seriously ill upon waking up awhile ago because of recurrent headache. :c I've got no plans of getting out today: since I have to present myself more courteously to my mom more often, to let me attend my friend's party on Sunday night. haha! ( da moves!) Awhile ago, I opened my nomination page at the candy mag site just to check how was it going - and saw this nice comment from a page dropper named, 'berto' ( hahaha! nice name by the way). In a way or two, I was somehow relieved from the agonizing headache and in advanced rewarded though haven't really won any award or recognition yet. Simple thoughts like this - is enough. Knowing that other people, whom I do not personally know, are moved and brightened ( somehow inspired ) with the things that I do and enjoy at the same time.

Hhhhmmm...what am I to say?! so0 flattered here*...hahaha! As I always say, everything is God's blessing. It's all a product of combined hard work, the eagerness to learn and seek for more knowledge, nice attitude towards all the people you work with in your environment and love for the passion we all choose to take in life.

sin city - a taste.

It's nearly four in the morning and I'm reminded of the opening line of Jay McInerny's Bright Lights,Big City:

IT'S SIX AM.
DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOU ARE?

Unfortunately, looking beyond a haze of empty light alcoholic drink ( the only alcohol my buds and stomach could tolerate ), and seeing through friends that I may not have become unnaturally close to in the course of yet another bacchanalian evening, I realize one thing...I could have absolutely been thrown out by bouncers from the exclusive VIP room last night if not because of my good friend Ivan! - the culprit! - Why I partied like no tomorrow awhile ago and still blogging at this moment.

I've been occasionally going out, but last night was my first - in an A-Lister's Party! - I mean, literally! Allow me to share some of my observations and thoughts of what was it like being a VIP! - for just a moment! haha!

You can brush elbows and kick some ass with Manila's who's who; have your own reserved area with a table, couch and a waiter at your beck and call; and occasionally have your photos taken for the party pages of broadsheets and magazines ( if that kind of stuff floats your boat ).( I brought my digicam with me as usual, but my guts weren't enough to take some pictures of me and my friends - hallo! no one was taking pictures! Except for official photographers with special passes! )

Music in the VIP area is also different from the main section; if it's house music at the main area then VIP's enjoy hip-hop music from a hot sweating foreign dj! the perks! tsk..

The real action happens here, too. It's here that high-society scandals are born. It's also often that you'll see a showbiz personality getting into a brawl, or a hot young couple making out in a corner. - - - hhmm...exactly just like what I saw last night!

I think, to appreciate the beauty of being a VIP, just imagine what a non-VIP has to endure: non-acceess to the VIP room and the pain of having to line up and shout out your order at the bar. It's Social death!

This one shall pass. ( hhmmm..hung over?) I guess it's just a matter of a good sleep! - and I'm back to my kind of world. :p

"me uno noche"

I had a hard time sleeping last night - - - actually, just a few hours ago and I'm up again. It's my first night here at my new condo at the UN Garden Villas. Yes, after five long years of stay in my UST apartment, I've decided to move and transfer into a newer one. I also had a hard time leaving that house, where everything for me here in Manila started. Where all the fond memories of college, night to early morning night-outs and practically sweet - bittersweet memories of the past five years would remain. cheesy* haha!

They say that I experienced the "First Day Syndrome"
- wherein the body experiences a weird acclimatization process! haha! - - - all I can say is - I'll surely enjoy my new condo! Weee! No more loud bustling horns in the morning, no more sidewalk garbages, no more libag central!, no more difficulty in water and best of all - no more effin' freak neighbors! haha! bitter* joke... My little cousin enjoyed the exclusive playground and at my backyard! nice* (*hhmm... excited talaga 'ko! - 'di naman halata! haha!)

As I step into this new condo - I promise to be more househol(dy!) hahaha! To practically practice more cleanliness to maintain my private space, learn to be more thrifty and lessen starbucks addiction! - dang it! - I'm still a few blocks away away from the La Salle Starbucks! :p :wee! (pano ba 'yan? sorry! - walang magagawa!), develop the sense of independence and hopefully be able to learn how to cook a palatable meal for myself! haha!*

IMPORTANT ADVISORY: All my friends are more than welcome to come! - basta, bring your own food! haha! You'll die starving with me! - I'm still learning to cook! hahaha! :p

I'm awake with the moon and sleeps with the sun

"I'm awake with the moon and sleeps with the sun."
I got up from bed past 12noon this morning - hell yeah! - I missed almost half of the day! This has been my habitual routine for the past months... To sleep around 2:00am and to get up around 12noon or worst is at 1:oopm. I know - my bad! NOCTURNAL me!

I can't help but remember those days when I was burning eyebrows 'til early morning just to meet up with the demands of my course and meet up with the truly agonizing and painstaking challenges of my college life! Yeah, those we're the days when I considered myself as a certified caffeinated geek! Plus, lots of hosting stints here and everywhere... Weee! I remember those days when after classes at 7:00pm, me and my block mates would just be passers by in our dorms and apartments just to change and get our pile of hand outs to study - - - and head off to starbucks 'til early morning! Those where the times when we even lost our normal selves and be the best cyborg geeks to study every freakin' subject there is! hahaha! - - - YEAH! I was able to get through it! haha!

Now that the first feather is already on my hat, I think it's about time to change this attitude - hmmm ( bad attitude?) Being an altar boy of Science, I am aware that the body needs sufficient rest and sleep. It's simple. And the body's normal clock dictates us to sleep at the right time. This simple blog entry reminds me of the importance of giving myself what it is due off. After all - the day has so much to offer. I realized that we could be the most productive persons we could possibly be if we would be able to develop the simple discipline 'bout sleeping. ZZZzzz.. gtg! haha!

I hope this simple witticism would strike me head on! - soon!

zodiac...( haha! let see) from my good friend Ms.UST '06 Michelle Oblea

SAGITTARIUS: The Sexy one ( I was born 24 Nov 1985) Wee...sexy?! di naman maxado... hahaha! le me see... check list:

"Spontaneous. Horny. Freak in Bed. High appeal. Rare to find. Great when found. Loves being in long relationships. The one. So much love to give. Not one to mess with. Very pretty. Very romantic. Nice to everyone they meet. Their Love is one of a kind. Silly, fun and sweet. Have own unique sexiness. Most caring person you will ever meet! Amazing in Bed!"

( forwarded by Michelle, my fellow addicted friend with zodiacs...a few things we've learned to master from our personal trusted adviser, philosopher, literature advocate and friend - Professor Agusto A. Aguila - Director of the UST Publishing House.)

hhhmm... my friend Michelle and I had this rare habit of having sessions with Sir Aguila.I mean, we would always visit him in his' office or meet up at any coffee shop there is for consultations, to seek for advices and to have long hours of talks practically about anything 'bout friends - other people - career - updates and ZODIACS! Sir Aguila has that amazing talent of interpreting each person's character thru his' or her' zodiac sign. Truly - believable!
At times when we have nothing to do, we would simply stare at other people's faces - pause, think - and there! We would already know under what sign this person is...hahahaha! That's what you call "m(y)astery!" - It's based on the shape of the person's face, character and attitude and personality. Weird us! haha!

I'm not a gullible person - however, this ONE thing made me really believe that somehow, the chances of the interpretations given are really true. There is nothing wrong with being guided by such, after all - the master of our own lives is no one but us. There is nothing wrong with believing. Sabe nga ni sir: "The more you think of it, the more it would happen. If something is perceived to happen, it'll happen.Simple."

graduation surprise - surprise! for Sara Sob!

13 April 07
Filinvest - Sobreviñas Residence
Surprise Party for our dear friend Sara Sobreviñas

I missed these people! Those who've been with me for the past four years and who made my university life truly memorable - my college friends! After graduation, we've somehow lost communication and updates on each other - - - many have been pretty much busy with post graduation life, immediate work and opportunities, med school and other fields. - - - One thing is for sure! - - - I SERIOUSLY MISSED THIS PEOPLE! damn!

Hats off to Stef for the serious and courageous preparations! You've been so religious towards updating all of us with the plan on how we're going to put up this surprise party for Sara. Seriously, it was more nerve wrecking than hosting! hahaha! We almost had a hard time looking for alibis and excuses! Weee! the "Supposed Gateway Day - turned out Sara's got punked- Indian(ed) by friends - Haus Surprise!" hahaha! It was all worth it!

The food was really great! Hats off to Mika for those sinful desserts you baked! - Thanks to Sara's best actress mom (hahaha!) for all the support - and to everyone of course who came.

No matter how distant we may be and separate paths we'll take - rest assured that you'll always be in my thoughts!

You made my college life thrice the fun!

I shall be ressurected with HIM.

I've been "dead" for quite sometime now.
In the silence of isolation and a long time of pseudo-hybernation, I just realized that time flies so fast, faster than a snap of a finger and quicker than a blink of an eye. I just realized that my yougest sibling is about to step college, our second is about to enter his third year in college. Have you ever felt that certain guilt feeling/ the pressure of having graduated/the pressure of finding a profitable job to help the family? hahaha! ( do I hear second the motions?) - - - I am very thankful that there was never a time that I was directly pressured by my parents, for they have been very supportive to all three of us. - Nonetheless, still - I am now being provoked by myself to move. To get up! hmmm... Heavy load on my shoulders. :c

"I've been dead for sometime now."
As i talk and do some updates with my college friends, I get the same feeling. The feeling of getting old - and the pressure brought about be the fast-paced stage we are all into. sigh* It may be a little weird for us to talk and act this way - (we should be enjoying our lives now!) However, the fact remains that in the inexorible process of globalization engulfing our country and the world today, we are all challenge to move FORWARD and to make the best of our lives. Now I am starting to realize that life itself is no pure fun - it's a CHOICE to strive and be happy or to simply be left empty handed. Indeed, LIFE is what we make it - we make our own destiny.
"I've been dead for sometime now."
Wishing to have the best of everything, I am aware that I have to sweat hard and more. Life is tough - and it is matter of challenging myself - pushing my extents to the limit and doing whatever it takes to finally succeed. Dang-it! It's a long bricky road ahead! - - - Nevertheless, I know that I am more than armoured, educated and experienced to face the world.

"Death shall only be temporary, afterwhich - there is always an awakening and a fresh start to begin with."

Jesus resurrected after three days, and I shall have mine.
RESSURECT oli! hahaha! Hapi Easter everyone!

summer flings?! hmmm..

"how far would you go for summer flings!? hahaha! crazy!"

The heat is officially on! This particular season, almost everyone is playing a little laid back and relaxed, feeling the scourging summer heat and on the line towards going to the coolest yet hottest vaca points. Where circles and friends tediously plan for that ONE great sizzling summer escapade! People and more people plunge into the beaches and destination points - to chill out, relax and bare off some summer skin! hahahahaha! feast your eyes fellas!

When I say say the heat is on - - - I mean it! hahaha! During this particular time, a few would probably agree that there is that certain feeling/urge, 0oops! hhmmm.. yeah.. ur nodding! hahaha! do I need to further expound on that? i know you get it... ;p

On my own point of view, there is absolutely nothing wrong with such - - - PROVIDED! that you have all the knowledge and awareness of what you're going into, you're not committed to anybody, you are aware of your limitations, everything is in good friendship and motive's sake, and you know how to control and discipline yourself.

SUMMER! - Fling-ing! sigh* hahahaha! I guess all normal human beings went thru this stage at one point or so.. hahahaha!

It's fun! hahaha! "init kasi!" Enjoy and make the best out of your summer 2o07! hahaha! :p

reunited and it feels soo0 good...

Today, I found myself reunited in the company of my few closest High School batchmates . Many things have happened, so many stories remain untold. - We even don't know where to start! hahaha!

I can't help but feel nostalgic 'bout the things that happened during high school ( the good old awkward stage of crushes - mean girls - bully - stationaries - school affairs - slambook! hahaha! etc..) - our adventures - and pretty much to laugh also with lots of our misadventures! hahaha! Dang it! ;p we're all getting old! - we found ourselves at one moment talking 'bout jobs, our future plans, the Makati business area, salaries and benefits! whooohoo! We're indeed grown ups!

With all the things each one had experienced during our own college lives, still - the memories and bond made during our middle school years is incomparable. Along the way, we may have met lots of interesting people, in the university, workplace and everywhere our feet may have led us - but these people will remain genuinely attached in our hearts.

CPA Passers and Accountants - Flight Attendants - Doctors - Bankers etc.. - Whatever degree we may have received, titles bestowed and conferred upon us - - - we will always remain child and high school buds at heart! - FOREVER! ( hahaha! too HS now! )

my own way at Good Friday

Good Friday - Basilica of Saint Martin de Tours
Taal,Batangas
Holy Week Processsion

This morning, I woke up almost alone in the house, silence all over our home and streets greeted my morning. Oh well - because it's Good Friday - and everyone is joining the rest of the world in observance of this Holy Day. Until I discovered - my mom-dad and other relatives went their ways to do Visita Iglesia ( an old-Filipino tradition of visiting various churches within the day ), my brothers went up to Mt. Maculot from 1:00 in the morning as their own way of observing this day. Oh well - - - everyone is like doing their ways to observe Good Friday.

"What am I to do to make my equal share? - Is it an obligation? - Do we really have to show obvious repentance ?"

I personally believe that it all starts within us. All this physical deeds are merely secondary to what we are really asked to do. - And that is to remember the passion and great sacrifice of Jesus Christ for us, be thankful forever , learn to love and forgive - and find ways to glorify God through the precious gift of life we are given.

I am not serious - religious! - - - Though having studied in an exclusive and strict Catholic School for 10 years and 4 more at the Royal and Pontifical Catholic University of the Philippines - UST. I think, I'm just okei. hahaha! At times, I also fail and miss liturgic celebrations, hesitant to receive sacraments sometimes, forgets to observe days of religious obligations - - - like normal people do.

Despite this, I strongly believe that I have a good relationship with God. I always acknowledge the fact that everything I have, everything I receive, all the blessings ( my family - friends - pople etc. ) - - - I owe to HIM. I may not be the best Christian who goes to church every Sabbath but in my own silence - - - and thank HIM always.

For three years now, I've been joining the evening procession. This maybe my own little personal way of observing Holy Week. Nothing beats the old-time province type processions of amazing images, nice and warm people, candles lit, and serious prayers of remembering Christ's passion - Death and Ressurecion.

Have a blessed and meaningful Holy Week!

clearance : to end this issue.

I am prompted to write this blog entry to stop all the speculations, rumors, unjust write-ups and to close the issues - in defense of my good friend RJ Jimenez of Pinoy Dream Academy involving me, his manager ( Ate Tin-Tin ) and Rj himself.

For the past weeks, unjust fictional write-ups came and surfaced the tabloid news stands, allegedly pointing fingers on Rj about the an incident that happened between us at the hallways of ABS-CBN. In the article, it says that :

"RJ Jimenez - Sinigaw-sigawan ang isang University host na nag ngangalang Oliver Sara matapos hindi ito isama sa isang show sa lobby ng ABS-CBN. Dahil sa pagkakahiyang tinamo, hindi na nagawang sumagot ng host at daglian na lamang umalis sa lobby..."

" Lumalaki na yata ang ulo ni RJ..."
"Mataas na siya sumingil ng talent fee..."

I never thought that things would be blown into proportion. I am prompted to write this blog after I received a call from Rj's manager, Ate Tin-Tin Rodriguez - asking me where all these write-ups came from. Alright, this is the truth, the "ABS-CBN lobby" incident really happened. I came from E Salon in Timog and dropped by ABS to get a drink at starbucks together withy my friend, it was way past five in the afternoon - I had to hurry for I'll be hosting the second ABA USTe Ako Concert that night with bands DictaLicense, KJjwan and Mojofly. On my way to the comfort room, I saw Rj and Ate Tin-Tin together with his' fellow PDA Scholars Kristoff and Davey. The fast conversation went well, Yes - Rj asked me 'bout the concert I'm about to host that night - which he wished he could have been a part of - same with his' manager. However, during that particular concert - we only had plans of getting bands. For he wished to do some sort of comeback concert - in gratitude of our fellow Thomasians' support. The whole conversation was in a friendly manner contradictory with all those hitting the new stands. After a few hi and hellos we bid goodbye and both took separate cabs. The incident ended there.

A week after, I attended the birthday party of my good friend and personal fashion designer - Raquel Gutierrez. I was with her at the table. Like normal good friends do, we both had a wonderful time talking and catching up 'bout our recent "busy-nesss". We had a great time discussing her fashion shows and mine as well giving my equal share of concert hostings and stuffs including the incident when Rj and I saw each other at ABS. Unknowingly, there were a lot of invited people from the press that may have overheard my stories - deliberately exaggerating the facts and consequently creating some sort of verbal fiesta in the news stands the following days.

To end this, I would like to clear issues up. Rj and I are good friends, for we both graduated last year in UST. We have lots of common friends at the Search for the Ideal Thomasian Personality family. We shall not be bothered nor affected by this anymore. We've talked
(even laughed) and made a genuine end on this.

blogstruck (ed) !

As i was reading my long overdue messages and peeping through some of my contacts to distant contacts' postings/entries/blogs - this excerpt from one of the blogs got me most. I Got this short paragraph from a recently posted blog in one multiply account...I saw my name on it. Things like this puts a smile on my face, knowing that people whom I may not personally know appreciates and admire the efforts and talents I show them..Thanks so much!!!

from http://meianchan.multiply.com

"A critical review on the recently concluded Mr.and Ms.Thomasian Personality Pageant"

"...now, the judges and the audience have an impression on how the candidates think and carry themselves. to give them ample time to arrange their formal gown, a student with the violin [the emcees forgot to introduce him.. which is a bad idea for me] entertained us. he was playing the violin for almost 10 mins and he has this big drops of sweat in his forehead. Why was he playing the violin for that long u say? well, he was waiting for the emcees to change their costumes which took forever. he keeps looking at the backstage waiting for the emcees. he must be really tired from playing. IF i was the male emcee, i would go upstage and replace the poor violinist and entertain the already bored audience instead. [it's understandable for mika to take long because a change in a girl's dress is much more difficult than a man's] and aside from that, hes sort of out of his mind when he's hosting the event.. it would be much better if oliver sara would host the event.. hehe! its a good thing mika can carry both of them on stage..."

hhmmmm...

I'm speechless. ( so0 flattered here now* ) I hope to meet you in person! I really appreciate the nice comment. Since the time I was given the rare break and opportunity to host UST's biggest events, I have been always thankful to all the people whom I've been working with. From the production team, to the utilities, staffs and project coordinators. Grateful I may say - I am very blessed to have found and gain such credibility from the people I've worked with. Things like these are added BONUS for us. Knowing that by merely being our true humble selves - we are able to touch and reach out to give other people fun and great experience. Thanks a lot.

To God b the Glory.

in mediasres - ;: holy week reflections :;

It's the time of the year when people head towards the most beautiful beaches, private resorts, amazing parks, getaways and country destinations...It's the time when families and friends take a break from the hustles and bustles of their busy lives to be able to rest and spend an amazing time with their loved ones.

That may be the case for most people, but I personally remain different. It has been a tradition that during Holy Week, our family do not go out neither go to beaches or other places. We remain in the comfort of our home here in Batangas, attends the liturgical celebration and procession during Holy Friday. I personally believe that Holy Week is a time for REFLECTION - RECOLLECTION and a for a little SELF SACRIFICE. This is the time when our Saviour Jesus Christ manifested His' ultimate love for us - SINNERS - when He offered his' life for everyone. During this time, we are reminded of this ultimate love we are given. Let us all try to reflect - - - of what have we done to be grateful of this love. Or are we deserving of such? Have we been thankful of the graces we've recieved?

Let us not forget in the midst of all the excitement and quality time we are having with our families this Lenten Season - to pause for awhile, breathe - reflect - say our prayers - and be THANKFUL for the LIFE we are given.

:; blessed are we ;:

Last 09 march 07 - I had the rare opportunity to be able to host the Philippine Idol's Concert. That night, I met Kuya Drae Ybañez ( a fellow Batangueno ) - and one of the Idol finalists. He is into charity for the kids of Antipolo. I got interested in helping this children.I know that we are so much blessed compared to this kids, I also see the same things whenever we go to our adopted community in Bulacan. To all my friends who are interested to join me, esp. in our planned missions this summer - HOPEFULLY. Please feel free to contact me. Thanks a lot.

Children’s Garden looks after the immediate needs of 20 street kids, mostly boys in Antipolo City. Thrice a week, the children—whose ages range from 12 to 18—gather at the center to rest, take a bath, socialize with other kids or just rest.

Right now, the immediate concern is to provide the kids’ immediate needs such as food, clothing and shelter during the day.

Children's Garden is busy soliciting funds so they can buy beds, bed sheets and whatever else the children need.

“It’s the children who need more attention and care right now. If we don’t take care of them, our future stakeholders, what will happen to our country? If we don’t salvage what is left us, what else is there?” - - - Kuya Drae

Those interested in making a donation to Children’s Garden of the Philippines can call 6605900 or coordinate with me at arthuroliver_sara24@yahoo.com. The center is located at Sitio Parugan, Antipolo City.

As early as now, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Ms. Princess Villaranda, President of UST Red Cross Pharmacy Unit - for the outpour of support and showing so much eagerness to help and all of my Doctor friends at the UST Hospital. I hope to be able to see you soon and plan for our future missions.
