Catch Sir Bobby Soul in Taiwan, March 26,2007 ( Monday ) for the start of his' 2007 ASIAN Tour. I'm glad I've worked with him at his' Philippine Concert. :)

He is the great man who brought the good old songs like "The Great Pretender," "Twilight Time," "Only You," "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes," "My Prayer," "The Magic Touch" and "Unchained Melody","Delilah","Endless Love" etc...

I am deeply honored to meet Mr.Bobby Soul at the night of my Philippine Idol Concert Hosting where he performed together with his' daughter Tamika. That night paved the way for us to meet together with the rest of the Idols who looks up to him as well.Surprisingly, he invited me to host his' concert - - - wheeeew! "the pleasure is mine!" . . . It is such a great honor to be able to work a concert with this legendary man who gave the world those immortal songs. truly, ONE NOSTALGIC night!

Bobby Soul is remembered as the youngest of the original "Platters," the world-famous all-African-American band from the 1950s, the so-called "Golden Years of Pop Music."

Soul was the vocalist and is regarded as the heart and soul of the group.

Soul sang alongside such big names of the pop music world as Jackie Pickets, Chuck Berry, Frankie Lyman, the Teenagers, the Drifters, Little Anthony, the Imperials, B.B.King, Mary Wells and Teddy Pendergrass.

His rich and enchanting voice has proven to be as enduring and timeless as his past musical successes with group members.

Every year, he sings about 40 Platters oldies at theatres, clubs, ballrooms and charity shows around the world.

His classic interpretations of the good old songs like "The Great Pretender," "Twilight Time," "Only You," "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes," "My Prayer," "The Magic Touch" and "Unchained Melody" often bring the audience to its feet.

Soul also impresses the audiences with his interactive performance mode as he likes to walk down the stage, shaking hands and taking pictures, signing autographs and cracking jokes with fans.

Audiences of all ages react enthusiastically to their performances, whether they are performing for a small group or tens of thousands, as they did during the closing ceremonies of the 1996 Olympics.

Bobby Soul has been based in Toronto, Canada ever since he went solo. Bobby has been coming back and forth to the country for various performances, a few times with Asia’s Queen of Songs, Ms. Pilita Corrales.

MY DAY ISN'T FINISHED YET!!! :after my concert hosting....I had to rush and do more travel to attend at my batchmates' dad's birthday party - arriving there at around 11 in the evening where my former classmates have been waiting since 7pm..hehehe! soreee..... weee! TIRED! but all was worth it!

It's once in a lifetime!
